Pier Fishing! Come catch
something, maybe even a fish!
We're going to try this event again, in spite of the limited
success we've had actually catching anything in the
past! Rumor has it that there's always something
to be caught off the Santa Cruz Wharf!
This
is a family event--so bring Mom and the siblings as well. If you don't
want to fish, there's always the Boardwalk and the rest of Santa Cruz
to explore.
Show up whenever you like. Although we published
a 9:00 AM start time, the good fishing (and the good spots) may be gone
if you don't show up early. You do not need a fishing
license. Just bring a rod and reel with a heavy weight (and lots
of
line!-) Bring your own bait, or buy some on the pier.
Lunch,
provided by the Red Tail Hawks, will be from 11.30am -12.30pm somewhere
on the wharf--probably near where it bends. Pleases RSVP to this evite
so we can guess numbers.
There's lots of parking--especially
early in the morning--around the pier. (Just make sure you feed
your
meter because the Santa Cruz Parking Patrol are sticklers about filling
the town coffers.)
